Grease fittings are heat treated to SAE J534 specification with hardness on greasing end to a minimum of 83 on Rockwell 15N scale with a case depth of 0005inch (013mm) to 0009inch (023mm)

Fittings with ball check use heat treated springs for increased life

Steel fittings are plated in yellow zinc with a plating thickness of 00002inch (5 microns) conforming to SAE J534 specifcation and have a guaranteed salt spray life of over 75 hours to red rust
