This section of the site contains Bearingboys’ range of single phase TEC electric motors. This includes motors of a capacitor start/capacitor run type which may be used within either industrial or domestic equipment with a single phase 220/240V supply. These types of single phase electric motors can cope where other single phase motors might find the application too demanding and boast high start-up torque as well. In contrast, permanent capacitor types are designed for use with equipment that starts up and is only then subjected to load once it is running running. They are found in fans, blowers and suchlike where only low torque is needed upon starting. We offer 1500rpm and 3000rpm single phase electric motors from 0.25 horse power to 4.5 horse power.
