LBCT linear ball bearings are used in applications where a number of shaft supports, or a continuous shaft support is required to avoid shaft bending. One raceway segment is eliminated in a LBCT bearing due to the open design. However, this does not have a significant effect on its load carrying capacity. The LBCT linear ball bearings are available for shaft diameters varying from 20 to 50 mm. Unlike other open design linear ball bearings, the LBCT bearings feature a shoulder in the cage on each side of the opening which acts like a gap-type seal. Open design LBCT linear ball bearings must always be secured to avoid axial and turning movements.
