Splined shafts are precision-engineered components designed for reliable torque transmission and smooth linear motion across a wide range of mechanical assemblies, including gearboxes, drive systems and machine tools. Manufactured from quality EN8 steel for excellent strength and wear resistance, our metric splined shafts feature either 6 or 8 splines to ensure secure engagement with matching splined bushes, allowing efficient power transfer while accommodating axial movement where needed. Each shaft is supplied in a standard 1000mm length and held to precise tolerances, with a maximum linear straightness of 0.8mm per 1000mm and torsional straightness of 0.5mm per 1000mm.
