WH50-1-5040 Weld on Hubs - Taper Bore (WH Type)
Medway WH50-1-5040 weld on hub features a 220mm boss diameter and is taper bored to accept a 5040 sized MEDWAY® taper bush. Manufactured from high quality steel, this hub is precisely machined with a 101mm overall length and outside diameter of 230mm. Key features include a 219.5mm counterbore dimension and taper angles of 40mm and 45mm.
Ideal for industrial applications requiring sturdy mounting solutions, this weld on hub provides a robust connection point when welded to components like fan rotors, pulleys, and plate wheels. The machined shoulder located at an outside diameter of 230mm ensures accurate positioning during welding. Once welded in place, the precision taper bore allows for a secure press or shrink fit of MEDWAY® taper bush, transferring torque loads from the driven component.
