GE120TXA-2LS SKF Sealed Spherical Plain Bearing
Spherical plain bearings are appropriate for bearing arrangements where alignment movements between the shaft and housing have to be accommodated, or where oscillating or recurrent tilting must be allowed at comparatively slow sliding speeds.
Lining: PTFE fibres, reinforcement fibres, resin and steel backing.
Inner ring: Bearing steel, through-hardened and ground, sliding surface hard chromium plated.
Outer ring: Bearing steel, through-hardened and ground. They come axially split, held together by one or two bands or bolted together.
Permissible operating temperature range: For bearings without seals, the range is -50 to +150°C, for bearings with LS seals, the range is -50 to +110°C and for bearings with RS seals, the range is -30 to +130°C. Please note that there will be a reduced carrying capacity above 65°C for both sealed and unsealed bearings.
Lubrication: self-lubricating; the bearings must not be lubricated.
