The WPS05/45B serves to satisfy the need for a strong spur gear on my 0 Gauge scratch build locomotive gearboxes. In itself it would rate as a five star product but for the fact that I do have to drill out the 4mm bore to 3/16" or 4.7mm! Further to this I would really like to purchase gears in excess of this but unfortunately the bore size of 6mm is not suitable without extensive rework. I have requested a wider range of gear sizes with a bore of 3/16" but to no avail.

Although I use this particular gear my preference would be a 60B 0.5 Mod gear, but this gear comes with a Bore 6mm which is too large for my requirement. Even the 4mm Bore of the 45B 0.5 Mod requires boring out to 4.7mm or 3/16" for my purpose although this is preferable to Plugging/Boring out the 6mm Bore. having said this, re: Above, the gear operates well with the specific Gearboxes that I produce for myself.
