Sheradisation is the process of choice for fixings or fasteners that require long-term corrosion resistance. The sheradised finish is a thermal diffusion process, in which Zinc powder is vaporised and diffuses into the surface of the fastener or fixing to form a sacrificial corrosion protective Zinc /Iron alloy coating which dramatically increases the nails\' durability.
