G15X23X3 INA Nitrile Rubber Single Lip Oil SealSeals are crucial in safeguarding bearings from contamination. The use of inadequate seals can result in the intrusion of contaminants into the bearing or allow an excessive amount of lubricant to escape. The presence of solid contaminants can cause wear and fatigue in both the raceways and rolling elements.
INA sealing rings were specifically designed for needle roller bearings and have been on the market for nearly fifty years. Throughout this period, they have demonstrated exceptional effectiveness in automotive and engine manufacturing, as well as in the construction of machinery and equipment.
G sealing rings feature a single lip and are constructed from synthetic NBR elastomer, distinguished by their green color. They incorporate a rubber-encased angled reinforcing ring made of steel, which provides enhanced stability. The rubber outer surface is designed with a wave profile on the outside diameter, offering several advantages:
- Enhanced sealing capability on the outside diameter
- Decreased press-in forces
- Flexibility in installation, allowing the seal lip to face either outward or inward based on the required sealing action.
These sealing rings are particularly well-suited for:
- Split housings
- Housing materials that exhibit significant thermal expansion, such as aluminum
- Housings with a rough surface finish (Ra6.3).
