Whale Tufnol Rod 35mm dia x 1220mm
Our Whale Tufnol rod is also known as SRBF and is the grade specifically designed for mechanical engineering purposes. This plastic rod is suitable for wear resistant components such as bearings, spacers, bushes and low voltage applications. In addition, dimensionally it is very stable and can be either run dry or lubricated with water, oils or grease. However, it is not suitable for washers or gears.
Our manufacturers make engineering plastics that are somewhat oversized in either diameter and/or thickness. This is provided to assist customers to produce very accurate items within the size shown and remove any minor surface imperfection. See help article for further information.
