UHMWPE Rod 60mm dia x 250mm (Natural)
UHMWPE plastic rod, fully known as Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene rod, has an exceptionally low coefficient of friction which offers excellent sliding properties and is one of the best for wear and abrasion resistance. It is tough and impact resistant even at low temperatures, as well as being low weight and easy to weld. However, it is difficult to bond.
Our plastic manufacturers make engineering plastic rods that are somewhat oversized in either diameter, in order to assist customers in producing extremely accurate items within the size shown and removing any minor surface imperfection. See help article for further information.
