UHMWPE Natural Rod 10mm dia x 500mm
Our UHMWPE rod, fully known as Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene plastic rod, has an remarkably low coefficient of friction offering excellent sliding properties. It is one of the most impressive for wear/abrasion resistance and is tough and impact resistant even at low temperatures. UHMWPE rod is low weight, easy to weld, however it is difficult to bond.
Our plastic manufacturers make engineering plastic rods that are somewhat oversized in diameter. This is provided to assist customers to produce extremely accurate items within the size shown and remove any minor surface imperfection. See help article for further information.
