Loctite 542 Hydraulic Thread Sealant for Fine Threads 10ml is a thread sealant designed for sealing fine threaded metal fittings up to 3/4 inch diameter. It carries DVGW and WRC approvals for use with potable water systems.
- DVGW approval (No.96.02e125) and tested to EN751-1 standards
- Meets BS 6956 type A approval for sealing gas fittings
- WRC approved for use with potable water systems
- Maximum thread size of 3/4 inches
- Temperature resistance up to +150°C
- Provides medium strength disassembly
This anaerobic formula is ideal for sealing threaded connections in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, such as those found on machine tools, automotive vehicles, and heavy plant equipment. It fills the gaps between fine metal threads and cures when confined to create a reliable seal resistant to shock, vibration and leaks.
