Nylon 6.6 Black Rod (Mos2 Lubricated) 80mm dia x 1000mm
Our black plastic Nylon rod is an excellent wear and abrasion resistant material that is well suited to machining. It includes the important Mos2, which a very effective graphite type self-lubricant. Nylon rod has high mechanical strength and good sliding properties. It is also stiff, has good creep stability and is resistant to many oils and chemicals.
Nylon 6.6. is very slightly better at operating with higher temperatures and is also slightly harder than Nylon 6, but it is slightly less impact resistance. Up to 45mm dia grade is extruded 6.6 and 50mm dia and above is cast 6.
