Acetal Rod 6mm dia x 1000mm (Natural/White)
Our natural acetal rod is probably our best plastic for machining, giving an excellent finish on both manual and CNC machines. It is the preferred grade for food contact as it has very low moisture absorption. It is also useful for where dimensional stability is critical. Acetal rod has the ideal combination of both high mechanical strength, hardness and toughness, giving it great sliding properties, wear resistance and electrical insulation.
Our manufacturers produce engineering plastics that are slightly oversized in either diameter and/or thickness. This is provided to assist customers to produce very accurate items within the size shown and remove any minor surface imperfection. See help article for further information.
