Scotland - Stores / Delivery Driver

We are looking for a motivated team member to join our ever-growing branch in Scotland.
Bearingboys Scotland Branch are looking for a Stores/Delivery driver to join our team. This is a full time and permanent role Monday to Friday (8.30am-5pm) Part time will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Checking and recording delivery paperwork.
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with your team and customers.
- Obtaining stock for customer orders.
- Providing sales and technical support on products for customers.
- Stock management with a high degree of accuracy.
- Providing customers with information such as stock availability, pricing and lead times.
- Complete system transactions for dispatch of stock, goods in, receiving and stock locations.
- Processing relevant paperwork.
- Picking, loading, delivering and unloading goods at customer sites within the local area.
- Ensuring vehicles are maintained and kept clean.
- Daily warehouse duties.
- Meeting and greeting customers into store and at the trade counter.
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience of a similar role in a trade or stores environment
- Driven to achieve high standards.
- Ability to communicate at all levels professionally.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- High level of self-motivation.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and on own initiative.
- Organised and structured approach to work and tasks.
- Trade counter knowledge and experience including some sales background.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time keeping
- A full and valid driving license is essential.
- Forklift license would be desirable but not essential.
